Car buying

Who knew something that should be so exciting could be such a horrible experience.   First you go through the struggle of discovering the difference between what is a NEED and a WANT.  Then you have to decide if you are getting the best deal in terms of gas mileage, longevity, if has everything you think you NEED, knowing if your budget is correct, and then the big decision.  And then you factor in the person selling you the car--do they not realize that it is our choice, that we are the one's in control of making the decision, and when we ask several times if that is the final price and each time they come back with a different price--that does not build confidence or trust.  The worst is when you tell them that is not what you want and you exit successfully and then you discover the price they were offering -that you supposedly bargained down too...was the price that another dealership was starting at.  The wasted time, emotion, and energy.

So yes we were eventually successful in our purchase.  We were happy with our dealership, price, and that all of our NEEDS were found in the vehicle that we purchased!!
